Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Waldrive at waldrive.xyz, operated by Cryptokarigar. By connecting a wallet or otherwise using Waldrive, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Waldrive is a decentralized application for storing and sharing files. Files are encrypted in your browser with SEAL, stored on the Walrus network, and access is controlled by policies on the Sui blockchain. Waldrive provides the interface; the underlying storage, encryption key servers, and ledger are operated by decentralized third-party networks.

Your wallet and account

Your wallet is your account. You are solely responsible for securing your wallet, private keys, and seed phrase. We cannot access, restore, or reset your wallet, and we cannot recover your files if you lose control of your wallet or encryption access.

Acceptable use

• Do not use Waldrive to store, share, or distribute illegal content or content you have no right to.
• Do not infringe others’ intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, attack, or abuse the service or its underlying networks.
• You are responsible for the files you upload and the parties you share them with.

Encryption and data responsibility

Encryption and decryption happen on your device. We never hold your keys and cannot read your files. You are responsible for keeping your own backups where appropriate. Loss of wallet access may result in permanent loss of access to your encrypted files.

Storage and availability

Files are stored as blobs on Walrus for a storage period measured in epochs, which may be tied to your subscription tier. Storage duration, availability, and retrieval depend on the Walrus network and are not guaranteed by Waldrive.

Subscriptions and payments

Paid plans are billed in USDC and settled on-chain. By subscribing you authorize the corresponding on-chain transaction. Plans may be cancelled at any time; cancellation reverts your account to the free tier and no refunds are provided for the current or any prior billing period. Tier limits and pricing may change.

Disclaimers

Waldrive is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Because Waldrive depends on decentralized networks (Sui, Walrus, SEAL) outside our control, we do not warrant uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that data will be permanently retrievable.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cryptokarigar and Waldrive shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, access, or funds arising from your use of the service, lost keys, or the behavior of the underlying networks.

Termination

You may stop using Waldrive at any time. We may suspend or limit access to the interface for conduct that violates these Terms or applicable law. On-chain data and Walrus blobs are not within our unilateral control.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
